Tom Awarded Discovery Prize

We have been awarded Stony Brook’s highly competitive $200k Discovery Prize. This funding will let us purchase a new electron analyzer for recording angle-resolved photoelectron spectra. A nice writeup from the University with videos is here.

Melanie gets job.

Our first group member, Melanie Reber, has accepted an assistant professor position at University of Georgia in Athens, GA. There, she will start her own research group pursuing  ultrafast optical spectroscopy of gas-phase molecular systems. Congratulations to Melanie!
