We are looking for a postdoc to work on developing cavity-enhanced ultrafast spectroscopy and mid-infrared frequency combs. Applicants are encouraged to apply here.
Neomi Lewis completed a summer research program at the Max Planck Institute for Quantum Optics in Garching, Germany. Now she’s back in the Allison lab.
Ryan Hou, an undergraduate from Columbia University, completed summer research in the Allison group, working on Cavity-Enhanced Ultrafast Spectroscopy
Our first Ph. D. graduate, Yuning Chen, was selected as a finalist for the APS Justin Jankunas prize in Chemical Physics. Yuning presented her work beautifully in an invited prize session talk at the 2019 APS March Meeting. Congratulations to Yuning for this great honor.
Paper on tunable visible comb generation posted to the arXiv now here. Many details about our tunable visible comb frequency comb setup covering > 9000 cm¯¹ of tuning range.
Grzegorz Kowzan has come to work with us from Toruń, Poland on a fellowship. He will work with us for 6 months on cavity-enhanced ultrafast spectroscopy. Welcome Grzegorz!
New graduate students Jay Rutledge and Anthony Catanese have joined the group. They have both been doing some research in the lab this past summer. They both did their undergraduate work at Stony Brook.
Yuning Chen, our first graduate student, has completed her Ph. D. A copy of her dissertation can be found on the new dissertations page.
Congratulations to Yuning!
